In order to appeal to her entire customer base, Romona Keveza designs two collections each season for the bridal market: Legends, which celebrates classic style, and Collections, which is more fashion-forward. For her Legends line, Keveza sought to celebrate the timeless style of Grace Kelly with a 14-piece lineup of ethereal white gowns. The opening silk organza ballgown floated into the intimate showroom presentation like a cloud, and was the most quintessential iteration of Kelly’s iconic wedding gown. Also prominent were ballgown silhouettes with delicate lace and beaded embroidery details, making it clear that this was a line serious about craftsmanship and class. Keveza also offered turtleneck and off-shoulder lace overblouses that transformed classic styles into something even more elegant. Those made the case for wearing the same dress for both the ceremony and reception, with only a quick change in between to get a different look. In a 180-degree shift, Collections was all about the modernist bride. That meant color, architectural designs and drama — especially in the opening look, which had a silk net chapel-length cape, and the closing gown that can only be described as a fantasy Cinderella moment.
