Lela Rose Bridal Fall 2017

Lela Rose has reason to celebrate: Her fall bridal collection marks 10 years in the bridal business. In a relaxed runway show at The Pavilion, the outdoor cafe in Union Square Park — a location chosen to honor Rose’s passion for entertaining — she staged a polished affair that honed in on pearl embellishments. Pearls decorated trims, trains and elaborate, laser-cut embroideries, a perfect symbol of the collection’s delicate, hyper-feminine spirit. Rose’s gorgeous fabrics — from textured silks to floral-embroidered fil coupés to feathered organzas — were showcased in a range of silhouettes to suit every bride, from strapless sweetheart bodices to prim boatneck gowns in corded lace. For a gal who eschews convention, she offered a silk-and-wool peplum top with a pearl-embroidered detachable collar and matching pants.
