Onia to Introduce Girls’ Swim

KIDDIE POOL: Onia is launching girls’ swim. Just in time for the resort season, the New York-based luxury resort wear label will introduce a girls’ assortment that will include a one-piece, scoopneck style called Ava, which mimics the best-selling women’s style called the Kelly. The swimsuit will come in three different patterns — pineapple, wave and toucan motif — and retail for $150. “We saw so much success with the launch of our women’s collection last summer, which led us to launch girls’ in a similar way, offering minimalist swim that would set us apart in the market,” said Carl Cunow, co-founder of Onia. “Our concept with girls’ remains consistent with our brand DNA — to offer high quality fabrics combined with superior construction for super soft, long-lasting durability.” The collection, which is infused with SPF protection, will be available at Barneys New York, Soho House and on Onia.com starting Nov. 15. This coincides with the introduction of boy’s prints that will be available exclusively at Barneys.
